Free-space Faraday Optical Isolators

A Faraday isolator is a type of optical isolator in which light in a particular direction can pass but light in the opposite direction cannot. The Faraday isolator can protect the laser transmitting system from the reflected light of other optical elements. This effect causes the light source to produce erratic output in terms of energy, noise, mode, line width, etc.

Crylink offers three types of magneto-optical isolators:

  1. Visible-near-infrared isolator with fixed wavelength based on TGG magneto-optical crystal.
  2. Uv-visible light isolator with fixed wavelength based on CeF3 magneto-optical crystal.
  3. Large aperture isolator based on TG28 magneto-optical glass.

Features:

  1. Isolation degree: >30dB
  2. Large wavelength coverage range
  3. Transmittance: >90%
  4. Fixed wavelength
  5. Let the laser pass only in one direction
  6. Free space input and output
  7. Customizable

Crylink supplies not only the Faraday isolator, but also the Faraday Rotators, and the crystals required for the isolator and Rotators.
